Abstract

Rapid technological advancements and increasing environmental concerns have positioned electric vehicles as an alternative mode of transportation that supports sustainable mobility. However, the adoption rate of electric vehicles in Indonesia remains relatively low, particularly among young consumers. This study aims to analyze the effects of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, environmental concern, and perceived price value on the purchase intention of electric vehicles among Generation Z in Indonesia. Data were collected from 278 Generation Z electric vehicle users in Indonesia using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that perceived usefulness, environmental concern, and perceived price value have a positive and significant effect on the purchase intention of electric vehicles among Generation Z in Indonesia. Meanwhile, perceived ease of use does not significantly influence purchase intention. These findings contribute to the development of literature on technology acceptance and consumer behavior, particularly in the context of electric vehicles.
