Abstract

Tourism is one of the leading sectors developed by the government. The existence of tourism is considered a regional potential for increasing income. The community is involved in managing local tourism potential. In 2016, the Temanggung Regency Government designated ten tourism villages, one of which is Menggoro Village, which features the Jum’at Pahing traditional tourism and the religious tourism of Masjid Jami’ Menggoro. The development of tourism villages is funded through village funds provided by the government. These village funds are expected to increase community interest in visiting tourist villages by improving and adding supporting facilities. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of village funds on improving community welfare. This research was conducted in Menggoro Village with 100 respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, and the data analysis method used multiple regression analysis. The results of the study show that there is a positive effect of village policy on community welfare.
