Pengaruh Masa Lalu Pemimpin Terhadap AI Leadership dan Kinerja Perusahaan Di Indonesia: Sebuah Studi Literatur

Abstract

The technological revolution compels today's leaders to evolve continuously, with the expectation that they leverage technologies like AI to enhance performance. However, questions often arise regarding whether a leader's background plays a role in the adoption of AI. Grounded in Upper Echelons Theory, a leader's background—encompassing demographics, values/culture, and psychological traits—influences strategic decision-making within a company. This study provides narrative evidence that a leader's background, as framed by Upper Echelons Theory, is linked to the adoption of AI leadership. Failure to adopt AI—which facilitates decision-making—can limit a company's or business's opportunities to improve performance.
