Peran Mediasi OCB pada Pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional dan Komunikasi Interpersonal terhadap Kinerja Pegawai

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the role of OCB in mediating the influence of emotional intelligence and interpersonal communication on performance. The research object is employees at the Education Office of Pekalongan City. This study employs a quantitative explanatory approach, using primary data collected through questionnaires containing statements with responses measured on a Likert scale. A saturated sampling technique was applied, with a total of 83 civil servant respondents. The analytical tool used was SEM-PLS with SmartPLS version 4.1.1.6. The findings indicate that OCB partially mediates both the relationship between emotional intelligence and performance, as well as the relationship between interpersonal communication and performance. Emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on both performance and OCB, while interpersonal communication also exerts a positive and significant influence on performance and OCB. This study provides both theoretical and practical implications.
