For a company, the final output in the form of products is highly dependent on human resource productivity, which is influenced by various factors such as binding company regulations, high production targets to meet market demand, and other pressures that significantly affect employees, particularly in the production department. Employees require continuous attention from their leaders or supervisors to maintain good work productivity, where such attention may involve actions to address work-related problems. Some of the challenges faced by employees include excessive workload, inappropriate working hours, work stress, numerous job requirements, inadequate income levels, and high task completion demands. This study was conducted at PT. XYZ with 100 respondents using a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. The research employs a quantitative method using SmartPLS 3.0 for data analysis. The results indicate that workload and work stress have a positive and significant direct effect on work productivity. In addition, workload and work stress also have a positive and significant effect on motivation as a mediating variable, and motivation is proven to mediate the relationship between workload, work stress, and work productivity.
