The Effectiveness of Risk Management Implementation at PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of risk management at PT Indofood Tbk in addressing various organizational risks. Risk management is an essential field that enables organizations to apply comprehensive and systematic management approaches to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks that may cause losses. This research employs a qualitative method using a literature study approach based on the postpositivism philosophy to analyze relevant data and information. The findings reveal that PT Indofood Tbk faces several risks, including the COVID-19 pandemic, food safety risks, rising commodity and raw material prices, competitive pressures, global warming and climate change, sustainability issues, and cybersecurity risks. The results indicate that PT Indofood Tbk has effectively implemented risk management across its various divisions, enabling the company to anticipate and manage potential threats while maintaining business sustainability.
